Early reports from skiers skiing the course today (Friday) say that it's very abrasive. You will definately want a good binder on top of a well sanded base. And be prepared for the possibility of glazed tracks on the second lap of the 28k as over 190 skiers will have skied it by then. Remember that 28k racers will have the option to change skis at the lap junction.
We did the final grooming on Thursday the 12th so when you test your wax today, you'll be skiing on the same track as what you'll be racing on tomorrow.
